Despite the difficulties of “rural broadband” [rant deleted], many of the local groups around Lisacul have Facebook pages to keep both the community and the diaspora up to date with what we’re at, and to provide opportunities to join in the fun. Here’s a quick round up of the sites that we know of: if there are more, let us know…
Ros Go Run Loughglynn has information about the 10k and half marathon coming up in September.
Brightsparks Montessori Preschool will keep you up to speed on what’s going on in the Preschool and in the Toddler Group.
On Lisacul Tidy Town’s page, you’ll find details of clean-ups – done and yet to come – and information about the Biodiversity Initiative.
Lisacul Players are taking a break for the summer but will be back in September to plan their next production. I know the players are looking for more people to join – as actors or as back stage crew – so contact them on the page if you are interested in joining in.
Lisacul Today brings it all together, with a Notice Board, and a central point for pictures and events.
Lisacul Foroige is an on line meeting point for our Foroige Group.
Flickr, rather than Facebook, hosts Lisacul Resources’ photographs, with a monthly post of 365 pictures (and anything else that takes our fancy).
And last, but not least, the place we go to recover from all this activity, Creaton’s, where Mary and Sean provide sustenance to the thirsty masses.
